Today is THE day! My bridesmaids and I are heading to one of my favorite city. We are going to Charleston, South Carolina. This morning has obviously been a busy one. I’m getting the boys ready while juggling my own to do list. I decided to wake up a little earlier and prepare myself an energizing snack before the craziness of the day begins.
I don’t eat airplane food anymore because it always leave me feeling bloated and tired. This is definitely one of those trips where I do not want either of those! It has been a struggle in the past to find something delicious that won’t make me feel lethargic. Recently I have learned to stick with mostly produce.
If you haven’t heard me say it before, I love pineapples. So, of course I threw some pineapple into the mix. When it comes to traveling through an airport I always try to remember to pack something that will give my immune system an extra boost. Pineapple is a great way to keep your immune system strong. Another great thing about the pineapple is how easy it is to find even in the airport. This one might be harder to find depending on the airport you are traveling in, but today I am adding some Dragon Fruit in the mix. It is a very light taste which is why I like to mix it with the pineapple. Dragon fruit is high in vitamin C and fiber so for a morning traveling in airports it is good to pack something like this that will keep you immune system up and your hunger down.
